Meet Our Staff


Our diverse staff creates a dynamic multicultural environment which enhances our students' learning experience. Currently, our staff are from and have experience working in India, South Korea, New Zealand and U.S.A.

The quality of a teacher can make a crucial difference in your child's success. MDIS strives to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for your child. At MDIS, we select certified, caring teachers with a variety of educational backgrounds. Our staff each have a love for God, a love for children, and a passion for teaching children.

 

 

                                            
John Stradwick (New Zealand)
Principal
Mr Stradwick leads our team of teachers and staff along with caring for the student body and community. He is well qualified professionally and academically
 with a post graduate degree in teaching; is a certified teacher; TESOL; taught in New Zealand and Internationally and has strong administration and leadership skills. 

 

 

Cynthia Hulse (New Zealand)
Administrative Manager
Mrs Hulse has a strong Administrative background and has been involved with MDIS for a number of years in both teaching and administrative roles. 

 

 

 

Kaushik Parmar (India)
Finance Manager
Mr Parmar is well qualified and experienced in Financial Management and brings strong financial leadership to the school.

 

 

 

Paul Narjinary (India)
Administrative Officer
Mr Narjinary is well qualified in his area of service. With a BA and MA diplomas in School Management and computers, and over fifteen years of experience in international organizations, administrative positions and business management, Paul is involved in most facets of the running of MDIS.

 

MiSun Jung (South Korea)
Music, English Language Learning (ESL)
Mrs Jung runs an excellent music program at MDIS, and produces one or two musicals each year. She has enabled her students to experience many facets of music instruction and to perform in various capacities. Mrs Jung received her Bachelor of Music in South Korea, and has experience teaching international students from many countries, both at MDIS and another large International School. Mrs Jung is also instrumental with the Korean ELL students at MDIS, providing the bilingual aspect for their content instruction, and teaching Korean history and language.

 

Navita Chandalia (India)
Kindergarten
Ms Chandalia is well qualified with a BA and B.Ed.  She has a gentle caring heart and manner to work with our youngest students.  Ms Chandalia is extremely creative and students love the variety of learning activities she brings to each subject area.  Learning to read and love books along with learning to write and all the other basic subject areas are covered in our Kindergarten class.

 

Kathleen Davis (USA)
Grade 1-2
Ms Davis has a BS in Education and comes to us with 18 years teaching experience - of which 9 years has been in International Schools around the world.  Ms Davis is passionate about teaching and her students love learning in the hands-on and creative enviornment she creates.

 

Deepti Kamaal (India)
Grade 3
Mrs Kamaal is a trained ESL teacher, an experienced Grade 3 teacher and has experience working as a private tutor in various content areas and grade levels.  Mrs Kamaal's class enjoy her pleasant teaching style mixed with her natural creativity and enthuesium for life and learning. 

 

 

Sarah Lindeque (South Africa)
Grade 6-7; HS Economics
Ms Lindeque has a B.Com and a Teaching Degree. She is well qualified to teach our Middle School students and High School Economics.  Ms Lindeque knows how to encourage and get the best from her students as she teaches and guides them quietly but firmly.

 

 

 

Indrajit Sundaram (India)
HS Science; HS English; MS Science
Mr Sundaram has a B.Ed in English and Science along with a M.Sc and B.Sc.  He is a natually dynamic teacher, drawing students into the subject as he imparts his passion for learning along with the subject content.  Mr Sundaram relates well with students and they enjoy the positive classroom teacher-student relationship. 

 

Tania Thakur
English Language Learning Department (ESL)
Mrs Thakur has a teaching certification in English and has several years of teaching experience. Her administrative talents together with her love for teaching, and her experience has produced a strong second language department at MDIS.

 

Sophy Andrews (India)
Elementary & Special Needs
Ms Andrews received her education in psychology and counseling in India and is pursuing her professional development at this time specialising in the area of Special Needs.

 

Ashwathy Ebenezer (India)
ESL Science
Mrs Ebenezer is highly qualified in the sciences and has a natural love for young people and teaching. 

 

 

Prarthana Dickson (India)
HS Physics; MS Math; ESL
Ms Dickson is highly qualified in Math and is a natural teacher.  She relates naturally with students of all ages and is a real asset across the grades in our Math Department.  Ms Dickson is also very musically talented and provides excellent support to our staff and students in the production of our musicals.
 

 

 

Salam Jerjes 
Computer Technician
Mr Jerjes computer hardware and networking skills ensure we have the best possible computer facilities on a daily basis.

 

Vinod Oraon, Dinesh Chand, Sanjeeb, Jugmohan Singh,  Maya, Anisha Zaidi, Omana Raju (India)
Manual Staff/Security/Driver
Our Manual Staff have provided faithful and reliable service to the School Community over the years.  Each bring their own talents to the school but they are always helpful and willing to serve the students and staff alike.
